The Declaration of the Rights and Covenants of DigitDAO

Preamble

The representatives of the .bit community initiated the DigitDAO project to promote identity as general welfare and basic human rights, to empower people around the world to build culture-first, identity-based DAOs, and to collectively produce public goods projects that really deliver social impact while having a regenerative economy model.

Article 1,

Community members should always keep a sense of responsibility and ownership toward the community. Acknowledge that we are all the representation of the DigitDAO project.

Article 2,

To guarantee the rights of the .bit community, proposals made in DigitDAO are to be consistent with the goals set by the DigitDAO community, The Declaration of the Rights and Covenants of DigitDAO, and should be made for the benefit of all, and do no harm to the long-term development or reputation of .bit project.

Article 3,

Each DigitDAO member has only 1 voting right.

Article 3,

DigitDAO charset account holder has the inalienable right of suffrage to select the representatives of their DigitDAO governance team and keeps the right to create proposals for overthrowing an inactive, corrupted, or oppressive DigitDAO governance team.

Article 4,

DigitDAO members can decide the 50% permanent usage of its corresponding charset's .bit account's sale revenue.

Article 5,

Free communication of ideas and opinions is guaranteed except what is tantamount to injure the community and abuse freedoms.

Proposals, and speech of community members, must not contain directly, by direct link, or indirectly any non-consensual imagery, child abuse imagery, threats of violence and incitement, hate speech, bullying and harassment, sexual or human exploitation, illegal or certain regulated activities or matters, malware, spyware, or material that is owned via copyright, trademark or otherwise by someone other than one of the proposal authors (unless the use of said material is permitted by the copyright owner or otherwise protected under other legal standards).
